Of the 3 Baltic States, Lithuania is the southernmost. Lithuania is well known for its wooden castles which were built during the Medieval Ages. During that time it was one of the largest countries in Europe. The state encompassed parts of present day Belarus, Poland, Russia and Ukraine, under a Grand Duchy.
The castles were therefore built in a manner to reflect its preeminence in the region. Lithuanian carpenters specialized in wooden structures as opposed to brick castles. Though a few of the latter were also built, the level of sophistication the workers achieved building the wooden structures ensured their demand in neighboring states as well, evidence lying in the Belarusian word for Carpenter being almost a copy of the original Lithuanian word.
The primary residents of these castles were Lithuanian Dukes, people with many means. To protect themselves forts were built around these castles to repulse aggressive attacks by Germans. These attacks took a toll on the castles and many were destroyed or irreparably damaged or even abandoned over time. To this day a number of the forts still remain, numbering around 450. Not many records were kept about these wooden structures and the information that has survived is very sketchy at best as only a few have been archaeologically researched and even fewer restored.

The brick castles, which were limited in number and built mostly by German workers, were concentrated around the capital city of Vilnius and Old as well as New Trakai. The Island Castle of Trakai was the strongest and most magnificent of all the Lithuanian castles, although the largest one was the castle at Medininkai. The Voruta castle has its importance in that the first and only crowned king of Lithuania, Mindaugas successfully defended himself during an internal war in 1251.
The castle at Old Trakai now has a Benedictine monastery standing over it, while the castle of Krevo has the distinction of being the place where Duke Kestutis and his son Vytautas were imprisoned. While the former died there, the latter went on to escape and rule successfully. The same castle played host to the signing of the Krevo Act which laid the foundation to the Polish – Lithuanian union, in 1385. A few of the other, more well-known castles were the ones at Vilnius, Birzai, Kaunas, Lida, Grodno, Punia, Palanga, Imbare, Moletai, Miadzel and Novogrudok, the last being the place where Mindaugas coronation took place; however this was subsequently disproved.
With a number of these castles being rebuilt, tourist traffic to these places has gathered pace, especially after Lithuania joined the EU. Prior to the economic slowdown, Lithuania had one of the highest economic growth rates in Europe and has consistently developed its infrastructure. As a result of continuous economic growth there has been a lot of interaction with other countries in the Union and across the world. The easiest thing in the world now is sending flowers for that special person in Moscow! At the time of the cold war, if you were not of the ‘elite’, this would have been an impossible task. It would have been far easier to deliver a bouquet in person, provided of course that as a foreigner you were allowed into the country in the first place! Otherwise there was always the possibility of the wrong flowers being delivered to the wrong person at the wrong time.
Now all of this has changed. Online floral services have been allowed to penetrate the Moscow market to set up strong networks of florist who are ready to deliver flowers to any parts of Moscow. Best of all you have a choice to pick from at the click of a few options. All you have to do is find the website that deals with international deliveries, find the arrangement, pay for it and your delivery will be on its way to a happy recipient.
Now to the small print:
Delivery inside Moscow city limits would be charged as per list price, however anything beyond would entail additional charges which can be quite hefty if the place is even somewhat remote.
An advance online order would mean your credit / debit card would be charged immediately, much before the actual delivery; so a 2 day advance booking would be more prudent.

When thinking about divorce, the person would be wise to consider many factors first. Emotional reasons often fuel the desire for a divorce. While the person may still want a divorce, the person should consider many factors before making a final decision.

There are reasons to be jealous as well as reasons not to be jealous. Basically, this is a human emotion which is a manifestation of human imperfection. The emotion often arises due to an insufficiency which a person has seen in himself in comparison to another individual. This type of emotion can always blind good judgment and often leads to illogical and erratic compulsions.
Jealousy can set in at any time in any place. It is an uncontrollable tendency that occurs in any environment be it at home, school or at the workplace. Jealousy that occurs in a place where work or profession is involved is known as professional jealousy. This is common among competing individuals and this can occur in any office whether in school or in a company. A person who is jealous finds discontentment in his own being and this is very depressing.
The most common form of jealousy that exists in a family at home is sibling jealousy. A sibling might be jealous of another sibling for want of affection or attention from the parents or one of the parents. It is a fact that cannot be discounted that there are parents who play favorites and this is indeed disappointing to those who are not favored. This is also unfair to the child who is not showered with same affection or attention as the other one who is favored.
It takes a strong emotional make-up to convince oneself that the insufficiencies found in himself is not permanent and can be overcome if he wills it to be. It takes an amount of will-power and mind control to assuage this condition. The person who is jealous needs an assurance and guarantee that he is not incompetent and he has the capability to fulfill anything if he wishes it. It takes self-control and some degree of tolerance to suppress the feeling of being jealous.
Considering the capacity of the person to understand his misgiving and imperfections can be a good remedy and reason not to entertain jealousy. This is an imperfect world filled with imperfect people who are dealing with the complexities of life in their day-to-day activities. Comparing oneself to others is never a good idea for that will only create a reason to be jealous.

Any form of activity involving marriage is a marital affair and a great concern for married people.
